Summer is coming to an End..

t’s been absolutely full speed ahead since Vårgårda – well, actually, even before that, if I’m being honest! 😊

Nelson (Glissdoes Saint-Dizier) came home with us from Vårgårda and stayed with us until the time was right for him to move on to his very own family. He and Chezter, in particular, became the best of friends and were truly inseparable. ❤️

Dessie and the boys also came to stay with us for a few days before heading back home to Portugal. It was such a joy having them here, and we made the most of every minute together.

We also popped over to Elenore’s for a little visit, where Dessie got to meet Yuffie – and, of course, enjoy some cuddles with the wonderfully sociable sheep. 🐑❤️

It’s always such a treat when friends, two-legged and four-legged, come to stay!

The day after Nelson left, our little Lovis came to stay with us while her mum and dad were spending a few days in Kalmar.

It was such a lovely treat to have our little girl back home for a visit! ❤️ Yuffie only lives about 10–15 minutes away, so I get to see her quite often. Lovis, on the other hand, lives in Västerås. It’s not really that far away, but it’s not exactly somewhere you can just pop over to for a spontaneous coffee. 😊

So having Lovis here for a few days was extra special – and, of course, we made the most of all the cuddles, fun and together time! 🐾❤️

Lovis is such a funny little character. We managed to pop over to Elenore’s, where she took a few quick photos of our little girl. Always lovely to have some pictures to keep! ❤️

Our big girl – or “girl” might not quite be the right word… more like our queen – gave us quite a scare last night.

I had cooked some Roslagsgrill sausages in our air fryer. Being the clumsy person I am, I somehow managed to send about a third of a sausage flying onto the floor. Daisy immediately struck like a cobra, grabbed it and swallowed it whole! I should probably mention that the sausage was very hot. 😳

After a little while, she started vomiting – and she really did vomit! Everything came back up: her entire dinner along with the whole sausage, and she just couldn’t seem to stop. She rested and wasn’t feeling particularly well, so we gave her a little ice lolly straight away, as well as some kefir. Unfortunately, that all came back up again eventually.

After speaking to FirstVet, they advised us to keep an eye on her and then give her some gentle food once her stomach had settled – very well-cooked rice and other bland, easy-to-digest food.

That’s what happens when you’re a greedy girl… which Daisy most definitely is! 😂 Daisy absolutely loooooves food! ❤️🐾

This weekend, the dogs and I are heading south, as I’ve entered us in a couple of dog shows. Little Chili will be joining us too – it’s been a while since she last stepped into the show ring, so it will be fun to have her out again! ❤️

What happens after that is anyone’s guess. 😄 The one thing I do know is that I really should get around to all those little things that have been patiently waiting for my attention… like painting and all sorts of other bits and pieces.

There’s always something waiting to be done, isn’t there? 😉🐾
